Boeing estimates people wait an average of thirty-five minutes before boarding a plane. Gough tells us the trick more airlines could soon implement to cut down on wait times. Next, we ask the podcast host why so many airplanes are painted white. He says the answer lies in both business and engineering. White planes are cheaper to paint and polish, and the color helps reflect heat, keeping interior temperatures cool and comfortable.
