Christmas is just days away, but some shoppers are still looking to get last minute deals. Now, it is a race for retailers to get those shoppers through their doors and on their websites. Marsha Collier joins Cheddar to explain how retailers can do that and how certain retailers are winning.
Collier says that engaging the customer when they enter through the door is key. Make sure you have interactive displays and an attentive staff. She also advocates for beacons, an in-store technology that can push customers notifications when they pass an item they might want to buy.
Collier stresses the key of mobilizing your staff as well. Empower them to interact with consumers online by communicating and representing the brand.
