Hannah Bronfman has some simple advice for gaining visibility and viral recognition on social media.
“Hone your voice, know your audience, and make that connection very real,” the DJ told Cheddar. “I don't think there’s any tricks or gimmicks. You never want to say the same story twice.”
The opportunity for social media influencers is a big one: some estimate the market is worth more than $1 billion.
Bronfman, with more than a half million followers across her social media platforms, recently nabbed partnerships with Tampax, Amex, and Adidas. She credits her Instagram presence with helping her land those deals.
But crafting a career out of social media, she says, isn’t a walk in the park.
“It is extremely time consuming, I’m not going to lie,” Bronfman noted. “Especially when you’re creating content for yourself, a site, and other people. It becomes a lot.”
