Dollar General workers and labor advocates on Wednesday gathered outside the company's headquarters to voice concerns over safety and health protections. The protest comes ahead of the company's annual shareholder meeting. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited unsafe conditions at numerous dollar general stores in recent years, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive. Since 2014, there have been 49 reported deaths and 172 injuries at Dollar General stores.
