Sutian Dong, partner at Female Founders Fund, discusses the company's investment in female-led businesses and some of the struggles women face when seeking venture capital funding. Dong says Female Founders Fund focuses on New York City start-ups and other unique start-ups. Each year, the company receives requests from over a thousand companies that want support. But Female Founders Funds is only able to invest in about six to eight new businesses each year.
