Anti-Defamation League CEO: When We Make Progress, Everybody Wins
Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO & national director of the Anti-Defamation League, and Rick Smolan, author and photographer of the new Book, "THE GOOD FIGHT: America's Ongoing Struggle for Justice," discuss the injustices against minority communities over the last century. The book seeks to put today's social issues into perspective, by juxtaposing them with those of the past.
The book aims to show just how far the journey for justice has come, but even more so what still needs to be done.
Smolan talked to Cheddar about an app that accompanies the book, which allows readers to have a play-by-play type of look at the events. The app will bring up videos and TED Talks for context.
The growth of the metaverse is bringing new challenges to managing safe, diverse communities. Helping Cheddar kick off Women's History Month, Tiffany Xingyu Wang, chief marketing officer for AI-powered content moderation company Spectrum Labs, joined Cheddar's Opening Bell to discuss how platforms can help create safer, more inclusive online communities in the metaverse and about her own experience as a woman in technology. "Trust is really the new digital transformation, and it should not be a siloed task solely belonging to chief security officers, to privacy officers, or the people who were given the task of trust and safety," she said. "It should be a priority for all the C suite and a whole company to rally around."
