Ben Dreyfuss, senior editor at Mother Jones, discusses the surprise resignation of Hope Hicks, making her the 4th White House communications director to leave the Trump Administration. Dreyfuss also digs into reports that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating what President Trump knew about Russia's hacking of the Democratic National Committee. Another topic of interest in the investigation is Trump's relationship with Jeff Sessions after reports emerged last summer that the president was trying to push Sessions out as Attorney General. We also talk about the recent revelations that Jared Kushner's retail firm Kushner Companies received large loans from two financial firms after meetings with the White House senior advisor. This information was released one day after Kushner lost his top secret security clearance.

Trump Administration Shutters Consumer Protection Agency
The Trump administration has ordered the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to stop nearly all its work, effectively shutting down the agency that was created to protect consumers after the 2008 financial crisis and subprime mortgage-lending scandal. The agency has been a target of conservatives since President Barack Obama created it following the 2007-2008 financial crisis.
