One Good Thing: Two Orphaned Mountain Lion Cubs Rescued
Here's One Good Thing for Thursday afternoon. Two orphaned mountain lions were rescued by crews in California. They were transported to the Oakland Zoo where keepers will monitor their health until a more permanent home is found for the duo.
Lee is the twelfth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season. It was forecast to strengthen into an “extremely dangerous” hurricane by Friday as it moves over very warm waters, and pass just northeast of the Caribbean region, the center said.
