87% of the seller community on Etsy is comprised of women. The online marketplace is proud of its role in supporting and launching the businesses of women around the world. Dayna Isom Johnson is a resident trend expert at Etsy. She joins Cheddar to explain how Etsy champions women internally and externally. 5 of their 8 C-Suite executives are females and 50% of their management is also female. When it comes to sellers, Etsy works hard to make sure their entrepreneurs have the tools and support they need to launch their businesses. One of the trends Johnson is watching right now are products that support "Galentines Day." Women across the web are choosing to spend time and money on the girlfriends they love on February 14th.
