On Wednesday, Wix.com launched a new Wix Code platform that combines Wix editor with features for advanced applications and design. Nir Zohar, President and COO of Wix, joins Cheddar to discuss how the new platform will make the website design process easier. The past quarter, Wix saw growth in revenue and subscriptions. Some 188,000 new premium subscriptions were added, which is up 33% year-over-year. He talks about Wix hitting record levels of conversion, mainly due to new product releases, and improvements to existing products. Plus, how will a re-write of the tax reform bill impact the small businesses working on the Wix platform? Zohar says he hopes it will stimulate the economy, and allow more small businesses to flourish and create websites on the platform.
