Waze has transformed the way many drivers travel and select routes. The driving app relies on crowd-powered data and information to accurately give the best route with the quickest travel time. Now, Wikibuy is looking to do the same thing for online shoppers. Wikibuy is an automated shopping assistant that automatically does comparison shopping for users. Wikibuy is powered by the crowd of shoppers who use the Chrome extension. Currently, the extension is used by 1.5 million users. CEO and Founder of Wikibuy Jonathan Coon joins Cheddar to explain how this extension is helping consumers. He also details how his background as a serial entrepreneur helped him launch Wikibuy. Coon is the founder and former CEO of 1-800 Contacts.
