David Peters, financial advisor and CPA, joined Cheddar News to break down exactly how employee buyouts work. HE described the method as a way for companies to cut payroll costs. "One of the things to consider is how long we think we're going to be without a job," he said. "That is going to help us to look at the deal that is being offered and help us decide if that's going to be the right thing for us."
