Vivian Reed Honoring Lena Horne In Limited Run Of Performances
Lena Horne's career in Hollywood spanned more than seven decades. She was also figurehead on Broadway. In honor of what would have been Horne's 100th birthday, Tony-nominated actress and singer Vivian Reed is honoring her legacy in a four-show series at Feinstein's 54 Below.
Reed explains why Horne was such an important role model for her. When Reed was just starting her career, she says was given a number of fabulous dresses from Horne, and she never forgot it. Years later when Horne made her Broadway debut, Reed finally met the woman she had admired for so long.

"As we've built our own digital testing platform, the app the students will do this on, we built this with security at the core," Rodriguez said. "And, in going digital we can do something we can't do today, which is, give every student who's taking the SAT, let's say in a given day, even in a given room in a school, a different version of the SAT."
After premiering at the 2022 Sundance Festival, Showtime is slated to drop the four-part docuseries "We Need to Talk About Bill Cosby" this Sunday. Director W. Kamau Bell joined Cheddar to discuss the sensitive project and about coming to grips with the reality of who Bill Cosby is following the numerous allegations of sexual assault. Bell said the biggest takeaway from the project is that survivors are not only looking for the 84-year-old comedian to be held accountable, they also want to prevent future assaults. "Maybe the key thing to learn is how do we create a society that is more supportive and accepting particularly women in this case who are survivors of sexual assault," Bell said.
