UC Berkeley Student Responds to AG Sessions Crackdown on California
Attorney General Sessions cracking down on sanctuary cities in California. UC Berkeley Sohpmore Bradley Devlin, who is a contribute for the Lone Conservative site, shares his reaction to the lawsuit filed by Sessions against the state.
Devlin says there's mixed views on campus over this announcement by Sessions, but recognizes there's a liberal majority in Berkeley.
In other political news, President Trump's economic advisor Gary Cohn announced his resignation Tuesday. "The turnover rate in this presidency is very high" says Devlin who calls Trump's tariff plan a horrible policy.
Rep. Andy Kim of New Jersey announced on Saturday that he will run against Sen. Robert Menendez in the state’s Democratic primary for Senate next year, saying he feels compelled to run against the three-term senator after he and his wife were indicted on sweeping corruption charges.
The allegation of India’s involvement in the killing of a Sikh Canadian is based on surveillance of Indian diplomats in Canada, including intelligence provided by a major ally, a Canadian official familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Thursday.
