Gimlet Media is a digital media company and podcast network, focused on producing narrative podcasts. Some of the most popular shows you may have heard of are: Crimetown, Reply All, and Homecoming. Lieber talks about how the experience is different from listening to a story and reading or watching one unfold. You become more attached to the voice, he says, and feel a part of the creation.

The Trump administration has ordered the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to stop nearly all its work, effectively shutting down the agency that was created to protect consumers after the 2008 financial crisis and subprime mortgage-lending scandal.
