Tony Hawk Releases "Saturday," First Film in About a Decade
Tony Hawk is the most legendary skateboarder of his generation, and he continues to inspire young skateboarders around the world. Alyssa Julya Smith sat down with the champion to talk about his new film "Saturdays" and how it shows off the team spirit of skateboarding.
The athlete, who has been the subject of almost 20 video games, also gave his take on esports and whether skateboarding will ever transition into that arena. He says he would love to see it happen. A new study shows different strategies may be effective at motivating people to donate, apart from all that “sadvertising.” The study from Nathan Chan, assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Casey Wichman, assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, found that people in good moods are more likely to donate to a charitable cause.
