More people are biking to work than ever before. Bicycling Magazine's Leah Flickinger joins us to reveal the publication's list of the top 25 most bike-friendly companies to work for. She explains how the magazine ranked companies based on facilities, wellness, culture, and activism. Flickinger discusses why Colorado-based New Belgium Brewing earned the rankings' number-one spot. The company has tons of perks for cyclists, including a nearby cyclocross track and new bikes for employees on their one-year work anniversaries. We also get a sense of why the list features so many tech companies including Twitter and Salesforce. Finally, Flickinger gives advice to companies looking to make their workplaces more bike-friendly. She says this involves offering new solutions like bicycle parking accommodations. She also encourages senior leadership to set a precedent by being the first ones to show up to work on a bike.
