'The State of Our Union Is...': House Dems React to Trump
President Trump laid out his vision and for the second half of his term and took a victory lap in his annual address to the nation Tuesday night, saying "the state of our union is strong."
House Democrats would disagree.
Cheddar's J.D. Durkin corralled as many Dems as he could find after the speech to ask him how they would refer to the state of the union in a few words. Their responses ranged from "corrupted" to "confused."
Barron's Ideas Editor, Matt Peterson, joins Cheddar to talk about the current state of the election and how Trump and Harris are tackling economic issues.
The former president was shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The FBI identified the shooter as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
