The Original Beck From "Roseanne" on the Fresh Faces in the Reboot
After two decades without the Conners, fans can soon reunite with the family in the highly-anticipated “Roseanne” reboot.
And for actress Lecy Goranson, who originated the role of “Becky” on the hit 90s sitcom, not much changed between the cast during all that time apart.
“What’s really unique about this revival is that those relationships have so much depth and history,” she told Cheddar at SXSW in Austin, Tex.
One thing did change on set: the siblings from the show now have their own kids.
“It’s been really fun having some new life involved in the family,” said Goranson. “We kind of see ourselves in them...It reminds us of what we went through, and [what] it was like for us being on set.
“We’ve kind of taken on mentor roles.”
The nine-episode reboot, which brings back all the principal actors, premieres on March 27 on ABC.
