Erin Egan, Vice President of U.S. Public Policy and Chief Privacy Officer at Facebook, discusses ways users can protect their data on the social network.
We press Egan on whether Facebook urging users to "take control of the ads you see" stems from Russian ads featured on the platform during the 2016 election. Egan notes that Facebook wants people to be in control of their experience and for them to enjoy spending time on the platform.
