A realization for many business owners is that they tend to be on-call for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Often, they can get so engulfed in their business that the don't carve out time for leisure vacations. Austin Netzley, author of 'The 2-Week Vacation Test,' said it is possible to step away from the business to enjoy life and "by taking committed time of, you reclaim your time but also, you're able to improve your team in operations, more easily let go off tasks and with a better team in operations and more time, now you're able to work on the things that actually matter and grow your business."
Apple CEO Tim Cook said Thursday that the majority of iPhones sold in the U.S. in the current fiscal quarter will be sourced from India, while iPads and other devices will come from Vietnam as the company works to avoid the impact of President Trump’s tariffs on its business. Apple’s earnings for the first three months of the year topped Wall Street’s expectations thanks to high demand for its iPhones, and the company said tariffs had a limited effect on the fiscal second quarter’s results. Cook added that for the current quarter, assuming things don’t change, Apple expects to see $900 million added to its costs as a result of the tariffs.
