President Trump's plan for a sweeping tariff on steel and aluminum imports is causing investors to worry about a possible trade war. Fidelity's John Gagliardi joined Cheddar to provide insight into market movements. Gagliardi breaks down how to approach the markets through three charts. He walks us through long-term, medium-term, and short-term graphs to highlight key takeaways in historical market patterns. Gagliardi points out that in a short-term chart, you can see the new normal in the S&P 500 is higher highs and higher lows. The FAA issued a temporary ground stop at one of the world’s busiest airports on Sunday morning soon after U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy predicted that travelers would see more flights delayed as the nation’s air traffic controllers work without pay during the federal government shutdown. The hold on planes taking off for LAX lasted an hour and 45 minutes and didn't appear to cause continued problems. The FAA said staffing shortages also delayed planes headed to Washington, Chicago and Newark, New Jersey on Sunday.
