Start-Up Apartment List Raises $50 Million Funding Round
Start-up Apartment List is aiming to change the way you rent online. The company just closed a $50 million funding round. Co-Founders John Kobs and Chris Erickson explain how they are using this funding to expand its existing business.
"We actually think that rentals is the next category to have a moment," said Kobs. "We really want to focus on giving more options to our renters."
In 2017, Apartment List doubled the amount of leases signed on its platform. The company is using its new funding do double its headcount in the year ahead.
Sports betting has spread rapidly across U.S. states in the past five years. But the odds for further expansion may be fading as state legislatures prepare to return to work in 2024.
