Kristin Koch, digital director of Seventeen.com, discusses why the Parkland school shooting has remained in the public's consciousness while others have faded. The students who survived the attack have played a huge role in keeping the conversation going. Koch explains the students who survived the shooting are refusing to let people forget what happened, whether it be through protests, town halls, or even visiting with President Trump. Koch believes these young people will help bring about real change, even if it comes slowly.
