Sex Toys Becoming More Popular, Thanks To Shows Like "Broad City" and "Grace and Frankie"
Once considered taboo, sex toys are now becoming a mainstay in pop culture. Shows like "Broad City," and films like "Fifty Shades Of Grey," have increased cultural awareness and acceptance of sex toys. Now the adult toy industry is cashing in.
Zoe Henry, Reporter at Inc. Magazine, explains why the sex toy sales are growing at a rapid rate. In 2015, the adult toy industry surpassed $20 billion. That rate is expected to rise at about 8% each year through 2020.
Anyone in the U.S. who had an account at any time between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, is eligible to receive a payment. The 2022 settlement resolves a lawsuit alleging that Facebook allowed millions of its users’ personal information to be fed to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that supported Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
