Sarah Ramos stars as Meg in the upcoming romantic comedy "The Boy Downstairs," which co-stars Zosia Mamet. Ramos sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith in Los Angeles to discuss her role in the film, and the resurgence of the romantic comedy. Directed by Sophie Brooks, "The Boy Downstairs" is a romantic comedy that follows Diana (Zosia Mamet), a twenty-something writer who moves back to New York City after living in London for two years. She soon finds out her downstairs neighbor is her ex-boyfriend Ben whose heart she broke when she left town. Ramos plays Meg, the real estate agent who helps Diana find her seemingly perfect new apartment. Meg is also dating Ben, Diana’s ex-boyfriend. Ramos talks about how "The Boy Downstairs" is a throwback to romantic comedies from the 90s and 2000s and has a similar appeal in the way it is shot and the way the story is told. "The Boy Downstairs" hits theaters in NY on February 16 at the Village East and in LA on February 23.
