The Joint Committee on Taxation says the Senate bill will add $1 trillion to the deficit over a decade.
In addition, Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin met with President Trump to express his concerns about pass-through entities. He's now expected to vote "yes" on the bill. The Republicans hope to have a version of the bill on President Trump's desk next week.
Former first lady Rosalynn Carter has died at the age of 96. The Carter Center in Atlanta announced that the wife of former President Jimmy Carter died Sunday afternoon at her home in Plains, Georgia, with her family at her side.
