Onshape has basically designed Google docs for CAD and has big plans, including two new announcements in 2018. Hirschtick explains that unlike old CAD systems, Onshape unites modeling tools, design data, and workflow in a secure cloud workspace. It allows engineers to access their work on any device, never loses data, and eliminates design gridlock.
