One Good Thing: New England Turtles Sent to Florida to Warm Up
Winters in the northeast are not for the faint of heart. From brutal temperatures to snow-filled nor'easters, it can be a mountain to climb. A few turtles at a New England aquarium were able to escape the cold, at least for now, and were sent down south to Florida.
A 9-year-old girl who vanished during a family camping trip in upstate New York was “safe and in good health” Monday after a massive two-day search ended with her rescue and the arrest of a person suspected in her abduction, police said.
