On A Positive Note: New Jersey Dog Shelter Offers Temporary Companionship
A New Jersey shelter is calling on residents to take their pups on field trips. Saint Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ is offering companionship without the responsibility of taking dogs home for good. It's a great way to help the dogs relieve some stress and can even be an step toward finding a forever home.
St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter joked in a tweet on Saturday that there would be no fine. The library, like many across the country, stopped charging late fees in 2019.
