On A Positive Note: Fynn the Skateboarding Therapy Dog
Fynn, a New Jersey dog who's gone viral for skateboarding and surfing has an even more impressive day job: Helping young people with autism and other disabilities. As an occupational therapy dog, Fynn helps kids lower anxiety, build confidence, practice communication skills and become comfortable with animals.
Senior dogs only have a 25% adoption rate, according to the ASPCA. Josey Miller of Best Friends Animal Society and seven-year-old Christine the Chihuahua joined Cheddar News to discuss the benefits of adopting older pets and to dismiss some myths about taking them home.
