Olympic Silver Medalist Chris Mazdzer tells Cheddar what it felt like to win a medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Mazdzer is the first American man in the 54-year history of the singles luge to medal. Mazdzer says when he knew he was going to win the silver medal, he thought of the 33 men who had attempted to do so before him. He was grateful to those men and felt the sacrifices he had made up until that point were worth it. Mazdzer says after his Olympic career ends, he'd like to go into financial planning. After watching the financial sacrifices his family, friends, and fellow athletes made in order to live out their dreams, he became inspired to pursue a career in finance.
