If you're having trouble sticking to a diet, you may want to try Bon Appetit's "Healthyish" Feel Good Food Plan. Amanda Shapiro, Editor at Healthyish joins Cheddar to discuss why the plan is a mind-body-belly strategy and not just a strict diet that people can break.
The plan contains 10 meals you can prep for dinner, and as a bonus, a lot of those meals can be saved for lunch the next day. It also covers one of the biggest issues people have: prepping for lunch. Shapiro also talks about including fitness into your routine.
Plus, Shapiro reveals some of the biggest foods trends in 2018. They include Middle Eastern ingredients, CBD and other cannabis-derived products, all-day cafes offering food that works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and non-alcoholic drinks menus.
A new study shows different strategies may be effective at motivating people to donate, apart from all that “sadvertising.” The study from Nathan Chan, assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Casey Wichman, assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, found that people in good moods are more likely to donate to a charitable cause.
