New Documentary "A Dying King" Examines Decline of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi
"A Dying King," is a new geopolitical documentary that examines one of the pivotal moments in recent Middle East history. The documentary examines the decline and death of Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
Bobak Kalhor is the director of the documentary, and joins Cheddar to explain why he made the film. Kalhor's started the project so he could better understand himself, and his story as an American of Iranian descent. However, once he learned more about Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and his mismanaged medical history, he knew there was an important story to tell.
"A Dying King" is being screened around the world, including in New York, London, Geneva, Zurich, and Paris.
