The final vote reportedly could happen as early as Saturday. Kavanaugh needs a simple majority of 51 votes in the Senate to be approved, and three Republican swing Senators will largely decide the nominee’s fate: Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). Researchers have said Australia is set to "become the first country" to effectively eliminate the disease.
