The crash is the deadliest U.S. transportation accident since 2009 and is raising new questions about the safety of stretch limos. The Wall Street Journal reported that a memo prepared by Google’s legal and policy staff warned that disclosing the incident could spur “immediate regulatory interest.” There has been no evidence of data misuse, but Google plans to permanently shut down the “consumer functionality” of Google+.
