Music legend Linda Perry, who has written songs for Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Gwen Stefani, discusses streaming royalties and Intuit Quickbooks' new "Backing You" campaign. Perry is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Perry isn't sure the recent court ruling giving songwriters at least 15.1% of streaming royalties is enough but says "we're trying to make changes." She also notes songwriters are underpaid. Perry explains Intuit Quickbooks' new "Backing You" campaign focuses on small business owners and entrepreneurs. She calls it an "innovative idea."
