Tony-nominated actress Laura Bell Bundy joined us to preview "Double Standards," a star-studded benefit concert for women's rights. Bundy is the producer, director, and host of the event. She says she was inspired to put it together after getting frustrated by the double standards surrounding Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential candidacy.
Bundy tells us all about the evening's A-list slate of performers, including Rosie O'Donnell, Jessie Mueller, Sara Bareilles, and Ingrid Michaelson. All proceeds from the event go to National Breast Cancer Coalition, Planned Parenthood of New York City, and the ACLU.
Bundy mentioned that the breaking of political boundaries bring her "joy," and that it's exciting to see America's diverse genders, sexual orientations, and races be represented electorally, she said, in response to Tuesday's historical 2017 election.
