After spending years as a software engineer, Harbaugh knew she needed to create a company that would help engineers test and successfully launch their products. Now, LaunchDarkly has raised $30 million to date and serves clients like Microsoft and GoPro.
LaunchDarkly allows engineers to test their product to specific users, avoiding rolling out a faulty product to all consumers in case there are issues. Engineers can also turn on and off certain functions for different countries or client bases.
Harbaugh was named by TechCrunch as one of the women in tech that crushed 2017.

That’s because the companies have failed to reach a new licensing deal to keep Disney channels on YouTube TV. Depending on how long it lasts, the dispute could particularly impact coverage of U.S. college football matchups over the weekend — on top of other news and entertainment disruptions that have already arrived. In the meantime, YouTube TV subscribers who want to watch Disney channels could have little choice other than turning to the company’s own platforms, which come with their own price tags.
