Jeff Clavier, managing partner at Uncork Capital, explains how his VC firm stands apart from all the others. Uncork Capital touts itself as the venture capital firm that "sticks around." Clavier explains how he looks for entrepreneurs with a very specific vision when deciding who to invest in. Uncork Capital takes a lot of risks, considering only a handful of companies get to an IPO. Clavier says it's important for Uncork Capital to start divesting stock in a company after a year even if it means leaving money on the table. Uncork Capital is currently very interested in frontier tech.
