Cannabis company "hmbldt" is changing its name to "dosist." Co-Founder Jason DeLand joins Cheddar to tell us why the time was right for the change. He says it's to emphasize the brand's focus on using cannabis as a health and wellness tool.
DeLand breaks down the widespread popularity of dosist's Dose Pen. He explains the different health maladies it aims to treat. These include: trouble sleeping, chronic pain, gastrointestinal troubles, and even one's love life.
Finally, DeLand discusses the medical benefits of legalized recreational cannabis. He explains just how important the concept of proper dosing is to his company's mission. The co-founder hopes shifting the conversation around marijuana will help shed some of its stigma.
The National Museum of African American History and Culture marked its fifth anniversary in Washington, DC, and it celebrated Black History Month with a contemporary exhibit on social justice called "Reckoning" as well as unveiling a digital option for online visitors.
