'Ant-Man' Opens
Marvel Studios' latest effort and the first Phase Five entry in its cinematic universe, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is off to a great start for its opening weekend. The Paul Rudd-led flick has so far raked in $17.5 million in previews at the domestic box office and earned around $23.8 million in its first two days in 40 international markets. Quantumania is expected to earn $100 million over the holiday weekend in the United States.

A new survey revealed that Hollywood insiders are not fans of Netflix's plan to crack down on password sharing. YouGov partnered with Variety to conduct the "What is Hollywood Thinking" poll and found that more than half of those that work in the entertainment industry disagree with the streaming platform's attempt to grow its customer base by essentially revoking account sharing. However, the study did suggest that respondents felt that streaming platforms are justified in limiting password sharing but thought a crackdown will do little to grow subscriptions and disagreed with how Netflix handled the situation.
