If Giancarlo Esposito had it his way, he would be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview on the The Tonight Show, Esposito told host Jimmy Fallon that he would love to be part of an X-Men project as the group's leader, Charles "Professor X" Xavier. "Charles is smart. He's good. But I feel there may be some mileage with me and Marvel. I know I love what they do. I know I love creativity. So who knows what could happen?" he said. He also revealed that he appreciates the support from fans for him taking the role and hopes their calls to Marvel can turn into something real.
'Avatar 3' New Focus
While Avatar 2: The Way of Water continues to rack up at the global box office, we're already learning about the next sequel film. The third installment will focus on Jake Sully's son Lo'ak, who will also narrate the film. Director James Cameron revealed the details in an interview and said the untitled film has already completed filming and is already in post-production. It's set to be released in December 2024.

The American Red Cross has declared its first-ever "national blood crisis" in the United States. Since COVID hit the U.S. in March 2020, blood donations have declined by 10 percent. American Red Cross Medical Director, Dr. Baia Lasky joined Cheddar News to discuss the country facing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. Dr. Lasky noted that as much as 40 percent of Americans are eligible to donate blood but only about 4 percent do so. "This is going to be ongoing," she said. "This is not an acute shortage. We really do need the commitment of people to come out and donate and donate again."
