Jonathan Majors received a standing ovation for his role in Magazine Dreams. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, which is set to wrap up next weekend. The movie follows the life of bodybuilder Killian Maddox who struggled with mental and physical health issues as a result of steroid use. Majors is also set to star in two other major releases this year in Creed III and Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Avatar's Historic Run
Avatar: The Way of Water continues to make good on its pre-release hype as it marks the sixth straight week at number one. It's also the sixth highest-grossing film in history with more than $2 billion taken in. The last movie to lead at the box office for six consecutive weeks was the original Avatar, which was released in 2009. Titanic remains undefeated with 15 straight weeks at top spot, and all three films were directed by James Cameron.
Beyoncé in Dubai
Beyoncé returned to the stage for the first time in nearly three years. The singer performed at Dubai's Atlantis The Royal resort grand opening over the weekend. The private event was limited to 1,000 attendees and guests were even treated to a surprise performance that featured Beyoncé alongside her daughter Blue Ivy. Beyoncé announced that she will be touring his year but dates have not been released.

More than 70 religious leaders have come together to sign a letter to urge Mark Zuckerberg and Meta to halt plans for Instagram for Kids. The signers claim that this new platform, currently on pause, could cause spiritual harm to young people. Lucy Kidwell, the screen-free week coordinator for the nonprofit that organized the letter, Fairplay, joined Cheddar News to discuss the issue on Safer Internet Day. "It's not necessarily the content, even, that's on these platforms, but more the structure of the app itself," she said. Amazon warehouse workers in Alabama are set to begin voting to unionize for a second time after workers at the facility in the town of Bessemer overwhelmingly voted against forming a union during an election early last year; but in November, the National Labor Relations Board overturned the vote, upholding a union challenge of the results which argued that Amazon undermined the conditions for a fair election. Another round of ballots will now be mailed out to works at the warehouse for a so-called re-run election.
