CHRIS ROCK SLAPS BACK

It's been a year since the 2022 Oscars saw the slap heard 'round the world, and the recipient of said slap, comedian Chris Rock, has finally, explicitly addressed the infamous moment in a live stand up special for Netflix. Titled Selective Outrage, it also tackled hot topics such as "wokeness," racism, and addiction, but Rock saved his comments about Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith for the last 10 minutes of his set. After some not-safe-for-morning-TV kind of jokes, Rock said the slap was more about the couple's relationship than him. He also said you won't see him sitting down to talk about the incident with the likes of Oprah, saying "it will never happen."
