BAD LANDING

COAST GUARD RESCUE

At an Oregon beach on Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard was called to help a swimmer in distress. Because the beach is flanked by high cliffs, and the water was rough that day, a Jayhawk helicopter was the best and safest way to perform the rescue. She was successfully lifted from the water and transported to a state park safely and in stable condition.
