He said the technology could allow potential bad actors to develop more phishing scams that seem legit to even the most careful internet users. "Another application might be using ChatGPT to create malicious code," he said. "It's going to help more people get access to coding tools with a lower threshold of entry and create more potentially malicious tools that could get into circulation faster."
