2017 saw multiple historic elections, including the election of Ravinder Bhalla, the first Sikh to be elected mayor in New Jersey. Bhalla will be inaugurated on January 1st and intends to hit the ground running. The mayor-elect joins Cheddar to recall what winning was like and why this is such a historic win. Bhalla hopes this is the beginning of a trend in American politics. Bhalla will sign an executive order on his first day in office. He cannot disclose what is in the order, but he wants it to serve as an example of the work he intends to get done during his time in office.
