Goop Executive Elise Loehnen Talks Working With Female C-Suite Executives
Elise has made it to the top of her field at one of the biggest women's lifestyle brands in the world, goop. She is the chief content officer and sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith to talk working with female executives and how the company ensure women are striking that work-life balance.
Loehnen explains that she started her career in magazine publishing in New York before working her way up the ranks and finding herself in Gwyneth Paltrow's backyard. She talks about the mentorship program at goop and how the female executives at the company help create that work-life balance by supporting one another.
One example of how the company does this is a no-email policy on weekends and ensuring no one is overloaded to the point that they are working 18 hour days without support. Loehnen also explains that the content they create also emphasizes the notion of support and community for women.
