Starbucks is introducing a new line of drinks made with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil , including an Oleato latte with oat milk and olive oil, an Oleato ice shaken espresso, and the Oleato golden foam cold brew, according to a press release. The idea for the olive oil-infused drinks came from CEO Howard Schultz. While traveling in Italy last year, he started drinking a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil every morning.Then one morning he had the idea to combine his morning olive oil with his morning coffee. The new beverages will be available at locations in Italy this week, then southern California in the spring, followed by the rest of the U.S.
